DAY ONE

Confused. Everything a blur. A ring in my head. Blazing orange in the distance. People running around. Black. Blackness.
Woke up to the sound of waves. In a cave. Don't know how I got here. Everything was a blur until I saw the wreckage. Then it all hit me a once. The flight, the screams, the people, why I was on the plane.
I was alone in this cave. My cave. I remember crawling here after the crash. Everyone else went off the other ways. I was looking outside the cave through the waterfall when, off in the distance I saw luggage. I needed to get it. I made sure the coast was clear before running over to grab it. Then off i went. It wasn't far. Probability 60 meters out. As I got closer I started to recognize it. The luggage had belong to the tall Spanish woman with the British accent who sat two rows up in the pane. But it belonged to me now. I immediately returned to my cave and started going through it. While going through it I realized I was all alone. No one was around me. I was lost and lonely. Exactly what i wanted. The reason I got on the plane.

DAY TWO

I had just tallied the wall when I looked over at the female clothes, shoes, hairbands, deodorant, some tampons, knee pads, gloves, and the volleyball I got from the suitcase. I began thinking about how I would use these things. I knew what I could do with everything except the volleyball. "What could I do with you" I said to it. "What could I do with you." "What could I...you." "You, YOU, that's it I thought. I decided I would be like Tom Hanks in that one movie. (The one where he befriended a volleyball.) I'd make the ball my friend. I named him Wilson like Tom did. My own Wilson. Never thought I'd have a volleyball as my only friend but then again I never thought my life would turn out the way it did. I figured I'd need someone to talk to anyway. I didn't want to forget how to talk. I was searching for something to draw a face on Wilson when I heard someone yell. I immediately went to see what happened. There was a very small man lying face down in the sand. I was about to go back to minding my business when a coconut fell right on top of him. It looked like it hurt. I had turned around thinking about whether I should I help him or not. I thought "yes" then "no" then "yes" again then "no" again. Finally I decided I would help him but when I turned around he was no longer there. I wasn't about to go looking for him so I went back to thinking about how Wilson would get his face. I found a rock and began to create his face. It wasn't the best but it was the best I could do then. Before I knew it, it was getting dark and I hadn't drank or ate anything. That old man was lucky. He may have been my next meal. I was starting to change already. I needed Wilson badly.

DAY THREE

"Morning" I said to Wilson. It was very early. Sun was just starting to come up. I decided that today would be about getting food and only food. I walked over to the pond, outside my cave, to drink and wash my face. But while I was washing my face i realized something in the water. It was a rippled reflection of a tree. I immediately turned and looked up. There it was, so pretty, so big, holding all sorts of fruit. I climbed p to the tree. Once I got up there I could see all the different fruits it had hanging from its branches. Bananas, apples, peaches, oranges, strawberries, etc. It had every fruit imaginable. It had fruits that grew on trees and ones that didn't. I grabbed as much as I could and headed back to my cave to share what I found with Wilson. He didn't seem to impressed. I still had most of the day left. I didn't expect to be done with food that fast. I thought it would take all day. But it didn't and I wasn't about to complain. I sat down staring out my cave at the vast ocean. While looking I couldn't help but think about everyone that was on the plain.
"Were they alive? Where were they? Did they need help?" I decided that tomorrow I would go back to the wreckage to see if I could find anyone. It was getting lonely with just Wilson and I, He wasn't much of a talker... And I needed at least one other person for my plan...

DAY FOUR

Now standing on the warm sand, feet partly submerged. I'm staring at the wreckage. Half the plane is missing. Probably sunk in the water I said looking over at Wilson. He had his eye on something... I don't know. "Wow there's still bags here" I said. Footprints going off in every which direction. I need to make a message of some short I said to Wilson. He was still staring at something. It was the jungle. The tress were so big. "So pretty with their big green leaves and branches" I thought. Those branches are big. BRANCHES! THAT'S IS WILSON, YOU GENIUS. I was starting to think I was crazy for making you but came through my friend. My small round friend. I left Wilson to go grab branches. My plan was to write some sort of message out of the sticks. Only grabbing the thickest sticks i realized I'm going to need to make multiple trips. I dropped the sticks off by the wreckage, said hi to Wilson. Went and grabbed more. Dropped them off said hi to Wilson. Still needed more sticks so I went on one more trip. Came back and dropped the sticks. "So tired" i said looking over to Wilson. Wilson... WILSON! WILSON WHERE ARE YOU! Wilson's gone I thought. Running around frantically I wont find him I thought. I looked everywhere. I sat down on the sand, lost. Mentally and physically. I'm lost with no one to talk to. I looked over at the water hopelessly and there he was, floating like he owns the place. Filled with joy I immediately jumped up and starting running towards the water, diving in and swimming to Wilson "I thought I lost you buddy" I said. Back on land now, out of breath I said "that was a close one buddy." I couldn't lose him I thought. He's my only friend. It was now getting dark so I headed home clutching Wilson tightly. "Ill make the message tomorrow" I said. As we walked I could hear the jungle start to come to life. It was actually peaceful listening to all the different sounds made by the animals. It made me think about almost losing Wilson for some reason. "You don't know how much you mean to me Wil" I said as a single tear fell down my face. I continued walking. All of a sudden a thought rushed through head, "How did Wilson get in the water."

DAY FIVE

I was laying on the top of the cave. The air was refreshingly chilly. The wind, so gentle. The ocean, so peaceful. The jungle silent... I was gazing at the stars. Wilson at my side. "They're so pretty." I said. They reminded me of a poem my mother used to tell me back in the village as a boy.

"So pretty in the sky,
So close yet so high.
Oh the hope you give to I,
Shame you're here just the night.
Oh how I,
Wish you could stay,
But I know,
Must come day.
Happy I am,
For soon,
Ill see you again,
My friend,
Bright stars and brighter moon."

"Beautiful poem" a voice said. The voice was so soft and gentle I didn't even jump.
"Whats your name" I said
"Diamond" she replied
"What brings you here tonight Diamond"
"I live here with my tribe and I was taking walking when I heard you talking"
"Who were you talking too anyways?" She said
I jumped up, turned around, but... no one was there.
"Up here" she said.
"Ah there you are."
There she was. I was in awe. The moon was so bright I could see her as clear day. Her hair, dark, blew in the wind. Her eyes a reddish hazel. I had never seen eyes so pretty before. I had never seen a woman so pretty before.
"Whats your name?" she said
"Uh...uh..oh its John, John Hapticus."
"Well John, John Hapticus, what brings you here to my island?"
"Oh its one John, and well you see, the plane I was on kinda crashed."

DAY SIX

Diamond took me back to her village. I met her people and let me tell ya, they were characters. Some had multiple piercings in places I've never seen piercings. They smelled very uh very... unique. Yeah that's the word. Diamond wasn't like the people from her village, like at all. She was so active and adventurous. They were a laid back kind of people. Diamond reminded me of home. I don't know why but she just did. Maybe that's why I was so drawn to her. I don't know. What I don't get is if I wanted to get away from home why was I so crazy for her if all she did was remind me of it? I mean that's why I was on the plane in the first place. To get away. I didn't know what I wanted anymore to be honest. All I knew was when I was with her, I felt at home. Mom always told me things happened for a reason. Maybe the plane crashing was destiny. I was meant to land on this island and find her. Well actually she find me but that's neither here nor there. She told me stories of her tribe. Her father apparently was the tribe leader at one point but lost his position. He never told her what happen. She wasn't even born when it happened. So now Diamond and her father were treated like outsiders. She never liked staying in the village. So she spent most of her time roaming the jungle. That's how she found me. She showed me places to get food and everything i need to survive. She showed me ways to have fun there. Basically everything I needed, she showed. Diamond did this because her village was weird when it came to letting outsiders stay there. So I would have to live on my home. I would see here often but I had to take care of myself. On our adventures I saw some people from the plane. I would keep a close eye on them.

DAY SEVEN

"You need to find someone to calls yours. Someone to wake up too. That is, if you plan on surviving."

"Relationships aren't my thing." I responded.

"Who are you anyways." I asked.

It was some sort of light. Some type of force.

"Wait are you God? AM I DEAD! Oh my god, I'm dead!"

"You are not..."

He, it, the thing starting chirping. Like it was a bird. I had woken up. It was a dream. I have no idea who or what it was but apparently it thought I needed to find someone. A love, someone to call mine. A Mrs. Hapticus. I quivered at the thought of that. I didn't have the best history when it came to relationships. Something next to me had move. It was Diamond. I had woken up to Diamond? She was there, next to me. No clue how it happened. I didn't recall anything about the night before. Immediately my mind was filled with so many questions. She woke up.

"Did we..."

She leaned over and kissed me before I could finish. All my questions had been answered.

"Um how'd you sleep?" I said.

"It was the best sleep ever" she said leaning over giving another kiss.

When we kissed everything except my lips went numb. This was a new feeling. Wasn't sure if I liked it are not. Well I know parts of me did... but with her it wasn't just a physical type of thing. We were actually something. I was actually for her. This was also new.

We decided to walk the shore. We were walking out the cave, her in front of me, when I looked back... I noticed Wilson's face was fading. It had just been rubbed off when we were out but I'm the type of person that likes to think everything has a deeper meaning. My mom taught me that.

"John, you comin"

"Uh yeah, sorry I thought I was just getting something." I said

I grabbed Wilson.

"He's coming with us" I said

She didn't respond. We got to the shore. We were just laying there, Diamond on one side Will on the other. Just looking off at the vast ocean.

"We should go somewhere, ya know? Like a place where its just us, no one else." she said.

"And Wilson right?" I said laughing.

"And Wilson" she said.

At this point I was looking at her. She was so perfect. Her hair was flowing in the wind. Her skin was so soft and so pure. She was looking intently off in the distance. Her eyes locked on something.

"There" she said.

DAY EIGHT

It was just Wilson and I. Diamond had went to her village for the day. She didn't say why, but before she left she had instructed me to gather up wood for building. She never said what we were gonna build but whatever it was, apparently she needed lots and lots of wood for it. I was taking my time since I wouldn't see her until tomorrow. Didn't want to injure myself. I had got a descent pile going. I went to place a piece of wood down when I was tapped on the shoulder, turned around, and was rocked upside the head.

I woke up locked in a wooden cell. The wood was too thick to break through. I was in some type of cabin. The only light was from a dying candle. It was a typical horror scene. Ya know, real dusty with the skeleton in the corner and a rat. The skeleton didn't bother me too much. It didn't looked like human bones but I couldn't really tell. Besides my head was aching with inscrutable pain. So I didn't pay too much attention to it.
After awhile my head had calmed down a little bit and I was able to focus better.
I looked around for an escape, but I couldn't see much from the cell. I could however, hear someone walking in and out of a door. They seemed to be doing it in a rhythmic pace too.

Open,
shut.

Open,
shut.

Open
shut...

Then it stopped. Immediately I was covered with goosebumps. Through the doorway, a shadow of what appeared to be a large man was gradually getting closer. With everything he took my body release more adrenaline. I was shaking and quivering like crazy now. Finally he appeared in the doorway... I began laughing hysterically. Tears building at the corners of my eyes. He was like 4 feet tall. I was scared for nothing. He was a little ugly thing too. I laughed for a good ten minutes before calming down enough to ask a question.

"What do you want with me?" I asked chuckling

"You'll see, you'll see. But for now you can keep laughing." he said

I lost all my enjoyment and my nerves began kicking in again. He had walked into the other room.

(Later)

He slid me a plate through the cage, instructing me to eat like I was an animal. I didn't touch it. I didn't trust him. It was a piece goat with carrots and some stuff I had never seen before. The rat i saw earlier had started to eat my food. I figured it was be a good way to see if my food was poisoned, so I let him continue.
Time passed, the little rodent was still crawling around eating everything and anything he pleased. So I ate. And damn it was good. The little guy could cook. I wouldn't mind being held hostage a couple more days if I kept getting fed like this I thought.
But then things got weird when the sun went down. It seemed like he had sun-downers syndrome. If you don't know what that is, its something when a person begins to act weird and weirder as the sun goes down. Usually people like that are just irritable and delusional. But he was something else. He banged his against the wall until it started to bleed. Then he just stared at me. Then out of nowhere, ran over to the cell and starting pulling and banging on it vigorously. He repeated this several times until dropping down on the floor. He was out, I was terrified to say the least and I needed help.

DAY NINE

I woke up to a hot plate sitting in front of me. This little guy could really cook. While stuffing my face I decided it would be smart to get on his good side, if I wanted to get out of here let alone survive.

"Wow, you sure are a good cook." I said.

"Thanks, you're not getting out." He replied.

"I didn't even say anything about that."

"Yeah I know, but the last guy did the same thing and I fell for it."

"The last guy?" I thought. I'm dealing with a real psychopath. Damn. Out of ideas I went back to sleep. I wasn't asleep very long tho. I had woken up to the little man on the floor and the door of the cell wide open. I immediately gathered myself and bolted straight out the door. I had stopped for a moment to look at him though. He sure was a little ugly thing. I felt so bad like how could one live looking like that it thought. He just had one of those faces that when you saw him, you just wanted to like shoot him or run him over with a truck or something. He was that ugly. Anyways I ran outside. The sun had blinded me a little. I guess not having light for a day can really weaken your eyes to it. Everything was a blurry and bright but I was able to find my way back to the wreckage, and from there I found my cave. Wilson was siting in the same exact spot I had left him. I don't know why it surprised me, its not like I expected him to move or anything, but it did. I didn't know why anything happened anymore to be honest.

"Hey pal, missed you." a voice said.

Frightened I jumped and looked around for the source of the voice. I grabbed a spear I had made when I first arrived on this island. I wasn't about to get kidnapped again I thought. He spoke again.

"Woooow calm down buddy, I thought we were friends"

I looked down it was Wilson.
"I'm going crazy, you're just a ball, you cant talk," I said.
"No you're not going crazy, this is a dream." he said.
"A dream?"
"A dream." he said
"So I'm not really free, I'm still locked in that god damn cage?"
"Yeah sorry to tell you that but at least I have good news." He said chuckling.
"Which is..." I asked.
"The answer to getting out of it is in this dream."
"What do you mean? What answer? What is the answer?" I asked frantically.
"Can't say."
"What do mean you cant say?" I said frustrated.
"Like I don't know it. This is your dream, not mine. Besides I'm just a ball, remember?"

DAY TEN

(MUST READ THIS FROM DAY NINE TO UNDERSTAND MY STORY)

"Hey pal, missed you." a voice said.

Frightened I jumped and looked around for the source of the voice. Where was it coming from I thought. I grabbed a spear I had made when I first arrived on this island. I wasn't about to get kidnapped again.
He spoke again.

"Woooow calm down buddy, I thought we were friends"

I looked down, it was Wilson.
"Oh my god I'm going crazy, it's just a ball. It cant talk," I said.
"No you're not going crazy, this is a dream." he said.
I knelled down. This was a lot to handle. The ball I found when I first got here was talking...?
"A dream?" I said rubbing my head.
I was in some much disbelief.
"Yes, a dream." he said
"So I'm not really free, I'm still locked in that god damn cage?"
"Yeah sorry to tell you that but I do have some good news." He said chuckling.
I didn't see what was so funny.
"Which is..." I asked.
"The answer to getting out of the cage is in this dream."
"What do you mean? What answer? What is the answer?" I asked frantically.
"Can't say."
"What do mean you cant say?" I said frustrated.
"I don't know the answer. This is your dream, not mine. Besides I'm just a ball, remember?"

DAY ELEVEN

"Just a ball" I said softly. What the hell was I supposed to do. I was locked in a dream. How the hell am I supposed to get out, I thought. A miniature storm cloud floated above my head. "Funny" I said. It was a "brainstorm". It was raining on me. The water was very cold. WATER! Maybe if I go jump in water I'll wake up or something I thought. I was running towards the shore when a another thought rushed over me over me. "Did I even want to wake up?" I'm stuck on a island, my best friend is a volleyball named Wilson, Diamond probably thinks I left or died or something. At least here in this dream I could do whatever I wanted.
I sat down. I was right in the middle of the distance between the cave and shore. I couldn't make up my mind on where to go. "Should I go back to the cave or to the ocean" I said softly. I didn't know what to do so I turned, to my right to be exact, and started walking. It was actually very peaceful. I was free, so free, in my dream. Freedom wasn't something I really knew about. Didn't have much of it in my life. I wasn't walking long before Wilson rolled up next to me. I laughed and started talking tom him. We went on talking for a good hour. He truly was the best friend I ever had.
We were mid-conversation when everything started to shake. It was an earthquake. "How could their be an earthquake?" I though. I didn't wish, let alone think of one. My knees gave out. I fell to the ground. My body began to jerk out of my control.

"HELLO" followed by a "Are you okay?" echoed through out the whole world.

"God?" I said

"Bye" Wilson said.

I looked over to him quickly

"What do you mean b--"

I was awoken from the dream. A man knelt over me. He seemed a little surprised but then said

"I'm Jordy, don't worry I'm here to help."

I closed my eyes, taking everything in.

DAY TWELVE

He helped me up and I thanked him for saving my life. He gave me a slight nod.

"I'm John Hapticus." I said.
"Nice to meet you John" he replied.

He had already introduced himself when he woke me up. His name was Jordy. Jordy and I went on talking, trading stories of our adventures on the island. His fascinated me, and mine seemed to interest him too. I liked Jordy. He seemed to be a cool guy.

The cabin was safe, and there was a lot of food here. We could survive here if we wanted to. And we did, so we decided to stay. We kept talking for awhile after but then Jordy got tired. He fell asleep. Even though I had slept a lot recently I was surprisingly tired too. I locked the door before falling asleep. Didn't want to get kidnapped again.

In the morning we saw some fishing rods and decided to go fishing. I knew this place that had a small body of water. It was close by and had a good amount of fish in it. We grabbed spears and the rods and went to the place. Jordy started fishing first. Something was wrong with my rod so I was trying to fix it.

"Hey Jordy."
There was no response.
I looked up.

"Jordy...?"

He was nowhere to be found. In a panic I went looking around for him, yelling his name. But still, he was nowhere to be found.
All of a sudden he yelled out. I turned and ran to assist him. I helped him up apologizing for not paying attention. He could've died.

"I'm sorry I didn't notice you were under the water!"

"It's alright, I need to dry off though." he stated.

We began walking back to the cabin. I couldn't help but feel something was following us.

DAY THIRTEEN

"Dude what the hell just happened back there?!" I said to Jordy, breaking the silence.

"I don't even know. Out of nowhere a snake wrapped around my legs and pulled me in the water when you weren't paying attention. Somehow I managed to free myself with the fishing rod, but goddamn that snake was fucking huge!" He replied.

"Damn, well I'm glad you're okay man. I'm sorry about that though." I said, patting Jordy's back.

We were walking now, in a big field with tall green grass. The wind blew, and the grass went in every direction. We weren't going to fast but we weren't going slow. Jordy was soak and still a little hurt so we kept a steady pace. We kept looking back to make sure we weren't being followed. But I couldn't helped but feel like we were. I think Jordy felt the same way. He never said though. I peaked over my shoulder and off in the distance the grass was moving as if something low to the ground was coming towards us slowly. It seemed like Jordy noticed it too be we just brushed it off. We were probably just a little paranoid. But then everything seemed to have stopped. The wind, no longer there. The grass, not moving. We just stood in a vast field with the grass at our waist level. We turned around. Something was moving in the grass. It was coming toward us then stopped about five feet in front of us. We could still barely see it. It started to slowly raise up. It was big and brown with black spots. Then it fulling raised itself as if it was a cobra, but this was no cobra, too damn big for that, and it began hissing. And before we knew it, it threw itself forward and bit Jordy's wrist. It wrapped part of it's body around Jordy's arm and he fell to the ground. I had froze for a split second in shock. I just stood there. But then adrenaline kicked in and I grabbed a spear. Jordy was wrestling with it on the ground. I was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Finally there it was, the perfect moment, I began to stab the snake repeatedly. I don't know exactly how many times, I kinda black out. But it was dead, I had killed it.

"Oh my god that was close." I yelled.

I got on my knees and pulled the massive beast off Jordy. His eyes were moving all around. He looked dizzy. He tried standing but couldn't.

"That bite... I think it was poisonous." He said just before passing out.

"Jordy! Jordy! Jordy!" I yelled his name repeatedly and smack him. He wouldnt wake up. He was still breathing though. I attached the snake's fangs to the back of my pants, picked up Jordy like a groom would do to his bride and starting walking.

"I don't know what we are gonna do Jordy, but were going to be alright."

DAY FOURTEEN

( Message to the Day 14 winner. Jordy and I would like to go MIA. Connect it to the walk where I was carrying him please ^^^)

"I don't know what we are gonna do Jordy, but were going to be alright," he said to his friend.
He put down Jordy by the base of a tree and paced around.
What do I do?
An idea popped into John's head. He remembered seeing somewhere that if you suck out snake venom the person bitten would be okay, but there was a warning. What was it again? John's head was so fuzzy he couldn't remember anything. Oh well, he was 99.9% sure it would work.
"You're making a mistake," Death said in a singsong voice.
Apparently, John failed to notice that in his rage against the snake, he bit the inside of his mouth and drew some blood. Rule number one of snake venom was that it wouldn't harm you unless you cut yourself.
"Well, I benefit from other's stupidity so why should I complain?" Death remarked as he watched John swallow the venom.
John began to sweat and dizzily wander around the tree he was stationed at before collapsing in a heap next to Jordy.
Huh, three minutes and forty six seconds. A new record.
"Where am I? Wait why am I on the ground, but I'm here too. Was I drugged?" John's ghost asked too many questions for the supernatural being's liking.
"On the contrary my dear John. You are dead. Welcome to life after death! I already said my whole spiel to your friend a few minutes ago, so I'll give you the drive by version. Don't come crawling to me if you have any problems. I don't want to hear them," Death replied trying hard not to slap the annoying human in front of him.
Just as is happened with Jordy, a blinding doorway of light materialized in front of the two, but this time, a large neon sign reading 'Heaven' glowed overhead.
"What's with that?" John wondered aloud.
"Corporate decided we needed to have more appeal so we permanently borrowed something from Vegas."
"Sounds legit."
And that was the last words John uttered before following in the footsteps of Jordy.

Death wrote in his notes:
J̶o̶h̶n̶ ̶H̶a̶p̶t̶i̶c̶u̶s̶ couldn't describe him fast enough, death by idiocy

DAY FIFTEEN (DECEASED)

"So what you wanna do Jordy?"

(Silence)

Jordy kept walking. He seemed to be focused on something.

"Jordy?"

No reply.

"Alright man, I''ll see later." I said

I guess this is were we'd split up. At least just for now. I turned and walk down some path. It was a road with houses going down it on each side. These houses belonged to famous people. Both of the MJs were there. Pac and Biggie were too. Of course they live on opposite sides of the street but whatever. For the rest of the day all I did was walk down the road and look at everyone. These people were so happy. The were talking to each other even if they had beef on earth. It was peaceful. I saw people from the island walking around too.

DAY SIXTEEN

Along the road there was a house that sort of invited me in. I walked along the walkway going toward the house. As I stepped onto the porch the door swung open. It's heaven so I walked in. Nothing bad could happen. It was completely furnished. The furniture was nice too. I'm talking solid wood and shit. I was in the living room. It was big with a high ceiling. I was in awe as I traveled about the house. That is, until i came across these pictures on the wall. There were pictures of me as a child. My family was in them too. I didnt even remember talking these pics. I remembered the moments though. These were my fondest memories. It looked like someone just snapped a pic while we were all laughing. I was so intrigued by it. I needed to find out who had taken these. But for now i just sat and looked at them. I continued that for hours. It was during that time when i truly realized I was dead. That I couldnt go back. Id but stuck up here forever. That depressed me greatly.

DAY SEVENTEEN

"John" a voice said.

"yes?" I asked.

I couldnt tell who or what was speaking.

(there was a long silence)

Finally the voice spoke again.

"John come here"

"Where, what, who are you?" I asked frantically

"Im god you dummy. Now come here when i call you for christsaike. Listen now, i have a very special job for you. You are going to be the-"

(i cut him off)

"I dont want a job im in heaven fool. Working is gonna be the last thing I do here.

(He spoke again)

"I was gonna say you could live with all the pretty ladies that died as long as you listened to them. But never mind. Maybe Jordy will do it. All you gotta do is listen to their feelings"

"ON SECOND THOUGHT"

"No"

"but"

"You lost your chance."

"Screw you"

"You know I can send you to hell in a heartbeat."

"Jk love ya big man."
